Do you offer refunds?

No refunds. We cannot accommodate cancellations or transfers. That being said, if you cancel 7 days in advance, we will do our best to offer you a discounted or complimentary ticket to a future event of our choosing.

Why don’t you offer refunds or transfers?

Our host venues require deposits and minimums. And, we currently do not have the administrative support to issue transfers or handle other requests.

Can I recruit or find sales leads at your events?

We suggest you attend our events with the sole goal of having fun and meeting amazing people. An aggressive personal business development agenda will not be well received at our events.

We are here so that women can connect on a genuine level, to help each other, to show each other kindness and generosity. Our events are friendly and casual. This is not a business card swapping, lead generation kind of group.

We recommend you think about how you can support and help the women who attend. Making genuine personal connections will offer you the most likely path for “networking” success with our group.

Why the tiered pricing?

We have tiered pricing and we charge recruiters and people in sales professions more for tickets. This is because we believe that people who are in a profession centered around networking are more likely to be reimbursed by their employers or have a personal budget for these expenditures.

Who can attend?

We include all people who identify as women and are technical, and/or work at tech companies or are exploring tech careers.

This encompasses women of any ethnicity or origin, any age (over 21), any sexual orientation and people who identify as women regardless of gender. Any genderqueer people and people of non-male gender identity who feel most at home in an all-women’s group are welcome.

We welcome people with disabilities. However, some of our events are held in locations with stairs and no elevator. If you have a physical disability, please inquire before purchasing a ticket.

Because of venue restrictions, you must be over 21 to attend most of our events. If you are under 21 and interested in attending an event, please contact us before purchasing a ticket or membership.

What about men?
  • Men are not permitted at our events unless the event is specifically described as an event for male allies. However, we would love to have support from men. Please read this blog post and then email us, letting us know how you would like to help.
How can I get kicked out of your events?

We do not tolerate harassment or discrimination.

Is that a photographer?

Some of our events will be recorded. By RSVPing you agree to allow your image to be used. Our intent is to use photos for our website and social media. If you do not wish to be on camera, please email us at least 7 days before the event and also identify yourself at check-in. In your email, include a photo of yourself and full name so that we can identify you.
